Doha – Mubasher: Mannai Corporation on Thursday announced its plans to acquire a 29% additional stake in 2017 and a 15% stake in 2018 in GFI Informatique from Apax France, Altamir, and Boussard and Gavaduan.
The companies collectively own 95% of GFI Informatique, as Mannai owns 51%, Apax France and Altamir own 18.5%, and Boussan and Gavaduan owns 25.8%, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
The 29% stake (First Block Trade) and 15% stake (Second Block Trade) Mannai aims to acquire include share capital and voting rights.
Mannai’s profits decreased 28% to QAR 90.1 million in the first quarter in 2017, compared to QAR 125.1 million in Q1-16.
The stock closed at QAR 77.05, after losing 0.13%, on Wednesday.
